We’ve all seen the postings at the beginning of a video, “WARNING... Any use or exhibition of this video other than home viewing..." but do we care?

“Surely we can show it in church; it’s for the Lord,” we say.

The fact is it is against the law to show a video or an excerpt from a video that you are not licensed to use, whether it’s before your church, lodge, or lunch crowd at a restaurant. Not only is it illegal, but it may even send the message that breaking a law you disagree with is okay.
