Shots

(i.e., scene elements taken from libraries of raw footage to be used alone or to edit into your productions.)

These clips are available in either 720x480 or 640x480 depending on the source footage. These are clips used for editing. Some have ambient audio, but most do not.

They are not scenes that tell a story, but rather they are single shots of scene elements such as Close-ups, Wide-shots, and Cutaways of various types. Their run-time varies from a six seconds to over thirty seconds. Each shot contains all of the usable footage for that camera roll.

Shots are available in two file types: ".wmv" and ".avi."

WMV files can be downloaded individually or in sets. They can be edited into programs for playback in PowerPoint using Microsoft's free editing program, Producer.

AVI is a high quality video format used by television stations and accepted by most non-linear editing software. These clips are distributed on CD-ROM or DVD data disks depending on the number and file size ordered. Standard delivery is two weeks.
