Q: What should I do before running the self-extracting PPT file?

A:

1. Save the EXE file to your desktop
2. Right click on your desktop and go to New, then to folder, name it as you wish.
3. Run the EXE file, click the browse button choose the new folder just created on the Desktop
4. Click Unzip
5. All the files should be under that created folder

Q: When I try to bring up your site, it takes forever and seems to freeze. What can I do?

A: You may need to upgrade your flash player to the latest version. Go to the adobe site, and install it from the bottom of the page. The latest version is from Adobe.

Q: Can I use your videos with PowerPoint?

A: Yes. To do this you would click on "Insert", "Movies and Sounds" and then "Movie from File". However, PowerPoint does not allow you to overlay text onto moving video, so although you can play our videos, you cannot project song lyrics etc. over our worship background videos in PowerPoint. To use our worship backgrounds, we recommend purchasing one of the worship presentation software packages available that are specifically designed for churches.

Q: I cannot view your previews, what should I do?

A: Our previews are encoded in Flash and so they require that you have a Flash player installed in order to view them. When viewing a product page for the first time wait for the page to load completely before you click on a preview. If you see a window pop up asking you to install flash click on the install button. Clicking on a preview will open the preview window but it will be blank (white) if you don't have flash installed.

Q: Can I play your video in a DVD player?

A: All of our video clips are CD products, designed to play in your computer not on a DVD player.

Q: What formats do your videos come in?

A: All of our video products are available as MPEG2 or .WMV (Windows Media Video) files. Some videos are also provided in MOV format (Quicktime).

Q: What is the resolution of your videos?

A: Resolution often depends on the producer's original source files. The MPEG-2 files are generally 720x480 or 640x480. The WMV files are 400x300 or 640x480.

Q: What kind of software will let me display text over a video?

A: Easy Worship, Media Shout, Song Show Plus, Presentation Manager, SongBase, Screenvue Liquid, and SundayPlus are among the more popular programs.

Downloading

Q: I am having a problem with my download. What do I do?

A: If it is during business hours (8:30-5:30 CST M-F) just give us a call at 877 333 2425 or, you can email us anytime at support@wordsearchmedia.com.

Q: I am new to downloading video clips. What do I need to know?

A: First of all, make sure you have access to a high speed internet connection to download video files, as most files are too large to transfer on a dial-up connection. Follow these steps to download:

1. From our main page www.wordsearchmedia.com, click on "MY DOWNLOADS" towards the top of the page.
2. Enter your email address in the space provided.
3. Right click on the video name and choose "Save target as".
4. Choose the location on your computer where you would like to save the video clip, then click "Save".
5. Your video will then be saved to the folder you specify and ready to use. It can be burned to a CD if you want a back up copy.

Q: I'm new to using multimedia in worship. Could you explain your different products to me?

Worship Backgrounds

Worship Background are video images, ranging from beautiful nature scenes to abstract computer animations, designed for use as backgrounds for projected song lyrics, scriptures, or announcements. All Worship Backgrounds are moving images (for example, the trees may be blowing in the wind or the candle flame flickering). The clips are loopable, meaning the scene will play continuously without any jerks or stops. They do not include any background music, as they are designed for use in live worship.

Long Plays

Long Plays are collections of extended, multi-scene worship backgrounds. Like our Worship Backgrounds, these loopable video backgrounds are designed for projecting words over moving. Each Long Play runs from 3.5 to 7 minutes before looping.

Countdowns

5-minute countdown timers start at 5:00 and counts down to 0. These videos include background music.

Sermon Illustrators

These short dramatic or comedic vignettes, man-on-the street interviews, and dramatized music videos are available in a variety of relevant topics.

Q: Am I allowed to load a video clip to my website?

A: Because of our licensing agreement, you are not allowed to put video on your website.
